GFF is seeking a Maintenance Technician for an hourly role at our Manteno, IL facility. The position reports to the Maintenance Manager and focuses on preventive and corrective maintenance of all production, facility, and support equipment.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting, installing and maintaining mechanical, electrical, and related systems, coordinating with various departments, and ensuring safe operation. Strong English communication and a good driving record are required.

Qualifications

• 4-5 years' related experience and/or training.
• Ability to fabricate and sanitary weld.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Solid knowledge of safety regulations and procedures.
• Flexible in daily schedule and willing to work overtime.
• Must have a good driving record.
• Verbal & written English communication skills.
• Will interact with multiple departments within the organization.

Responsabilités

• Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair production and supporting equipment.
• Determine materials, parts, and equipment for repair and stock.
• Coordinate preventive maintenance on all production and supporting equipment.
• Install, inspect, and maintain mechanical, electrical, and related systems.
• Inspect and maintain HVAC, ventilation, and water treatment devices for the plant.
• Coordinate with supervisor on plant-wide mechanical and electrical work.
• Complete documentation per company guidelines.
• Perform work safely and efficiently per shift.
• Read and understand complex written and oral instructions.
• Program temperature controllers, Honeywell controllers, AC inverters, and DC controllers.
