Qualifications

• 5+ years of industrial maintenance experience; chemical facility preferred.
• Certified Maintenance Apprenticeship or Mechanical Institute Certificate.
• Experience rebuilding pumps and gearboxes; HVAC or electrical experience preferred.
• Able to read technical manuals and CAD drawings.
• CMMS experience with MicroMain or SAP.

Responsibilities

• Repair, modify, and install equipment to maintain safe, reliable operations.
• Diagnose malfunctions and replace/repair parts on complex systems.
• Perform preventive maintenance on belts, pipes, pumps, bearings and more.
• Conduct root-cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and reports.

Why You’ll Want This Job

• $34.80/hour starting pay
• $1000 Sign-On Bonus: $500 after 90 days; $500 after 180 days
• $1000 Retention Bonus after 365 days
• Choose from steady off-shifts with potential overtime

Your Schedule Options

• 2nd Shift: 3:00 pm – 11:00 pm, Monday – Friday
• 3rd Shift: 11:00 pm – 7:00 am, Sunday – Thursday
• Overtime based on business needs

What You’ll Tackle

• Repair, modify, and install equipment to maintain safe, reliable operations
• Diagnose malfunctions and replace/repair parts on sophisticated building and production systems
• Perform PMs on belts, piping, filters, mixers, valves, bearings, motors, gearboxes, dies, extruders, feeders, rolls, drive chains, classifiers, mills, seals, and pumps
• Troubleshoot issues, conduct proof tests, and implement preventive measures
• Champion 5S for organization, cleanliness, and safety
• Deliver preventive and predictive maintenance activities
• Root-cause analysis and timely implementation of corrective actions
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and reports
• Interpret technical documents, blueprints, and schematics
• Monitor production machines to detect early signs of malfunction
• Perform basic welding and fabrication
• Work safely in confined spaces and at heights using ladders, scaffolding, and platforms

What You Bring

• 5+ years of industrial maintenance experience (chemical facility preferred)
• Certified Maintenance Apprenticeship or Mechanical Institute Certificate
• Demonstrated skill in pump and gearbox rebuilds
• Strong preference for HVAC or electrical experience
• Ability to read/understand technical manuals and CAD drawings
• Capable of confined-space entry, working at heights, lifting, and manual work
• PC fluency (Word, Excel) and CMMS familiarity (MicroMain, SAP, or similar)
• Able to wear required PPE, including a respirator
• Overtime flexibility
• Solid attendance and safety history
