PPG in Circleville, Ohio is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to keep production equipment and facilities up and running. You will perform mechanical and electrical maintenance on reactors, mills, HVAC and related systems, and follow preventive maintenance programs while ensuring safety standards are met.

The role requires flexibility to work overtime and in a chemical manufacturing environment, with the ability to lift up to 50 pounds and wear proper PPE as needed.

Pay: $35.20

As a Maintenance Mechanic you will be a crucial part of our operations, ensuring production equipment and facilities are ready and available when our customers need them.

Primary Responsibilities

• Mechanical and electrical maintenance work focuses on repairing, constructing, installing, troubleshooting, and maintaining electrical systems and equipment including reactors, mills, mixing equipment, HVAC, and general facilities
• Follow plant preventative maintenance programs and complete work orders as assigned
• Adhere to all site standard operating procedures and safety standards
• Equipment root cause analysis and implementation of corrective actions.

Qualifications

• Working mechanical and electrical knowledge.
• Experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment is preferred.
• Ability to work any job, and work overtime as needed.
• Ability to work in chemical manufacturing site
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on a consistent basis throughout the day.
• Must be clean shaven to wear proper PPE.
