Reporting to the Maintenance Manager and Supervisor, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring the seamless operation of our industrial machinery and mechanical equipment. With experience in an industrial-style environment and fabrication knowledge, you’ll troubleshoot and diagnose issues, dismantle devices, and expertly repair components. Your keen eye for detail will spot operational challenges, allowing you to provide valuable insights and maintain our MRF facility. The Plant Maintenance Lead is responsible for the efficient operation of the maintenance department and for the general leadership of Mechanics and Cleaners. Prioritizes workload according to safety factors and operational needs and ensures workload is evenly distributed. Reviews productivity levels and the progress of all repairs. Monitors the preventative maintenance programs to ensure they are done in a timely manner consistent with all regulatory requirements. Responsible for maintaining a safe work environment by ensuring safe work practices are followed and monthly safety meetings are conducted. Administer company policy and procedures and promote positive employee relations. Candidates should have knowledge in troubleshooting and/or working with Conveyors, electronics (motor controls, VFD, PLC (Allen Bradley) and Hydraulics.
Hourly Wage: $34.49 - $37.39/hour
