Responsibilities

• Promote safety: actively prioritize safety in the operation in line with MSHA and Vulcan standards.
• Perform general physical activities: assist with plant operation using hand tools, cleaning, washing, sweeping, and shoveling materials.
• Repair and maintain equipment: assist coworkers in servicing, repairing, and adjusting plant equipment.
• Inspect equipment and structures: perform daily inspections to ensure safe, reliable, compliant operations.
• Operate vehicles and equipment: operate heavy construction equipment or cleanup loaders as needed.
• Additional responsibilities: other duties as assigned.
