Job summary

Graphic Packaging International, LLC is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to support our Irvine, CA facility. The role involves preventive maintenance of production spaces and building systems, plus mechanical repairs and equipment servicing to ensure continuous operation.

Candidates should have five years’ experience as an electrician, mechanic, or plant maintenance, with basic electrical, mechanical, and carpentry skills. Union environment; overtime, weekends, and shifts may apply.

Qualifications

• Five years of on-the-job experience as an electrician, mechanic, or plant maintenance.
• Experience in a consumer packaging and printing environment is a plus.
• Able to work all shifts in a union environment and may require overtime, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic preventive maintenance on facilities and equipment.
• Repair and replace lighting, door hardware, and minor fixtures.
• Disassemble and reassemble machinery to access components and perform repairs.
• Install, align, and adjust machinery parts and systems for optimal operation.
• Conduct routine checks and maintain safety, quality, and housekeeping standards.
