Job summary

Heidelberg Materials is seeking a Repairman I to support our stone processing plants in Glen Mills, PA. This full-time role focuses on operating and maintaining site equipment and ensuring safe, efficient plant performance.

You'll check conveyors, screens and crushers, perform routine maintenance, make minor repairs, and assist with start-up and shutdown procedures. The position requires physical stamina and a collaborative approach to safety and operations.

Qualifications

• Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain plant and quarry equipment.
• Ability to follow technical instructions, maintenance procedures, and safety practices.
• Willingness to work around heavy machinery in outdoor and indoor environments.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the operation of the stone processing plants.
• Check conveyors, screens, and crushers and report issues and oversize stone.
• Start and shut down plant equipment as needed and perform general clean up around the plant.
• Make minor repairs and adjustments; inspect and grease/lubricate plant equipment.
• Operate the plant proficiently.
• Perform other miscellaneous duties as requested.
