Job summary

Sunrock is seeking a Plant Maintenance Technician to diagnose, repair, and support daily maintenance across multiple locations in North Carolina. The role involves flexible shifts, overtime, and occasional overnight travel, with minimal supervision on routine tasks.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in industrial maintenance, welding experience, and strong English communication skills to report issues to the Manager of Plant Maintenance.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of relevant maintenance experience required.
• Welding experience preferred (certified or non-certified).
• Valid North Carolina Driver's License required.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, maintain, and support plant maintenance across locations.
• Inspect equipment and operate skid steer, dump truck, and sweeper as needed.
• Track maintenance, parts replaced, and equipment issues.
• Follow safety policies and procedures per MSHA/OSHA.
• Perform welding and metal fabrication (TIG, MIG, Stick).
• Travel up to 10% overnight may be required.
