Job summary

Silgan Closures in Evansville, IN is hiring a Maintenance Specialist to install, maintain, repair and remove production equipment and conveyors. The role includes servicing hydraulic systems, piping, and safety systems in a 2nd/3rd shift environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs regularly.
• Able to work at heights and use ladders.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, repair, and remove production equipment and conveyors.
• Set up and operate power tools and measurement instruments.
• Repair hydraulic systems and air/gas lines.
• Inspect and ensure equipment safeguards are in place.
• Diagnose production failures and report to Supervisor.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
