Job summary

KENT Nutrition Group, Inc., a member of the KENT WORLDWIDE™ family, seeks a skilled Maintenance Technician at its Arcade, NY plant. The role maintains, troubleshoots, repairs and services plant equipment and facility systems to support safe, efficient operations.

The job offers a first shift, 6:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., full‑time hours, competitive hourly wages, and a robust benefits package including health, dental, vision, and 401k. Opportunities for growth exist within a stable organization.

Qualifications

• OSHA safety knowledge
• Basic computer knowledge
• Ability to lift a minimum of 55 lbs from floor to working height as needed
• Pass pre-employment drug screen
• Ability to work in dust and adverse weather conditions and temperatures

Responsibilities

• Install circuit breakers, starters, panels; run conduit and make hook-ups with minimal supervision
• Troubleshoot electrical equipment up to 480 volts and perform repairs
• Repair all mill equipment with limited supervision
• Read blueprints, drawings, sketches and schematics
• Train less experienced electricians
• Attend seminars and courses to improve skills
