Position Summary
Join our second shift team and help keep our production equipment running safely and smoothly! We’re looking for a hands‑on Maintenance Technician who can troubleshoot, repair, and maintain machinery in a fast‑paced beverage manufacturing environment.
Second Shift (3:30 pm to 12:00 am)
Position Responsibilities
- Provides production support and provides emergency repairs and breakdown remedies.
- Ensures all food contact surfaces and production areas are returned to safe food production condition concluding maintenance activities.
- Performs preventive maintenance activities and daily rounds assigned.
- Completes work orders and projects assigned.
- Performs general housekeeping in maintenance and work areas.
- Participates in tool and part inventory.
- Completes daily paperwork including rounds, PM’s, WO’s, breakdown analysis, and root cause analysis.
- Regular set‑up, teardown, relocation, and changeover of machinery.
- Assists in regular production as needed once maintenance work is caught up.
- Performs general building maintenance.
- Meets all Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) and Safe Quality Food (SQF) requirements; participate in food safety meetings as required.
- Cultivates and promote a strong safety culture and follow all safety policies, procedures and regulations; identify and communicate workplace hazards and correct or seek assistance in correcting unsafe actions or conditions; participate in safety meetings as required.

Required Qualifications
- High School Degree or equivalent
- Three (3)+ years of experience as maintenance within food and beverage industry or related field
- Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints; trouble shoot as needed
- Capable of performing troubleshooting analysis
- Ability to work effectively both independently as well as in a team environment to attain personal, team and company goals
- Ability to respond to production issues in a timely manner
- Ability to maintain good relations with production supervision and management
- Well‑organized and skilled in time management, prioritization, scheduling, and meeting deadlines
- Ability to learn and adapt to changing priorities.
Work Expectations
- Regular, full‑time, on‑site position.
- Must be available to work daily and extended hours as needed to support production and maintenance requirements.
- Work is performed primarily in a warehouse and manufacturing plant environment, with occasional outdoor tasks in adverse weather conditions.
- Exposure to conditions such as heat, cold, humidity, moving machinery, noise, close quarters, fumes, odors, dust, mists, and gases.
- Requires adherence to all safety procedures and the use of appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
Physical Demands
- Regularly required to talk, listen, and communicate effectively.
- Involves long periods of sitting, standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, climbing, and operating machinery.
- Must be able to lift and/or move 50+ pounds frequently and up to 100 pounds occasionally.
- Required to perform essential functions at heights greater than 8 feet.
- Vision requirements include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
Travel
- This position requires up to 5% of local travel.
