Job Opportunity: Plant Maintenance Technician

Model Cleaners, Uniforms & Apparel is a growing, family-owned and operated company with corporate offices and plant located in Charleroi, PA. We provide dry cleaning services to thousands of people throughout Pittsburgh South Hills and the Mon Valley, and garment rental and related services to hundreds of companies in the Tri-State area. We also design and implement customized apparel purchase programs, shipping products to companies across the United States.

We're looking for a Plant Maintenance Technician at our Charleroi plant. The selected individual will assist in the maintenance of the physical plant.

Responsibilities:

1. Troubleshooting and restorative maintenance of industrial equipment and the facility itself.
2. Pipe fitting, welding, machining, carpentry.
3. Repairing electrical and mechanical equipment.
4. Installing new equipment.
5. Maintaining the physical condition of the building.

Normal working hours are 40 per week, Monday-Friday with the ability to work overtime as business needs require. Competitive pay, plus phone allowance. Uniforms provided.

Qualifications:

You should be in good physical condition and able to stand and/or walk around the plant for up to 7 hours daily. You must possess a valid driver's license, a good driving record and be drug-free. Ideal candidates will have a stable work history and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
