Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 2 to 5+ years of mechanical maintenance experience in mining or heavy industrial settings.
• Familiarity with heavy quarry equipment and conveyors is preferred.
• Ability to follow safety protocols and maintain logs.

Responsibilities

• Inspect equipment before and after shifts and perform scheduled PM tasks.
• Troubleshoot and replace basic mechanical components and drive shop tools.
• Perform structural repairs and fabricate parts as needed.
• Order parts, maintain logs, and assist in mobile equipment maintenance.
• Follow MSHA/OSHA safety rules and implement LOTO procedures.
