Job summary

Tree Brand Packaging is seeking an experienced maintenance technician to join the team in South Pittsburg, TN. The role focuses on troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing production equipment, processing and packaging lines, and building facilities.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with mechanical and electrical systems, including hydraulics, pneumatics, welding, AC drives, VFDs, and PLCs, plus a valid driver’s license. Overtime and weekend work may be required.

Qualifications

• 1–4 years related maintenance experience.
• Basic knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems including hydraulics, pneumatics, welding, AC drives, VFDs and PLCs.
• Valid state driver’s license.
• Able to work overtime and weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

• Ensures operation of plant machinery utilizing both electrical and mechanical skills to troubleshoot equipment.
• Completes preventive/predicative maintenance procedures.
• Ensure duties of the position are performed in a safe, efficient and effective manner.
• Controls downtime by completing needed repairs and part replacements in a timely fashion.
• Provides mechanical maintenance information by informing production workers of routine techniques, answering questions, and responding to requests.
• Maintains safe and clean work environment by complying with procedures, rules and regulations.
• Contributes to team effort by performing other duties as assigned and needed.
