Job summary

Qualifications

• Strong troubleshooting skills.
• Experience or willingness to learn pneumatics and hydraulics.
• Willing to learn boilers license and electrical maintenance license.
• Ability to accurately read and use measuring devices.
• Well-rounded mechanical skills and experience.
• Written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work overtime as needed.
• High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical problems with plant equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical problems with plant equipment.
• Perform preventive maintenance on all plant equipment.
• Perform building maintenance and repairs (air conditioning, lights, etc.).
• Perform small repairs on equipment to prevent downtime.
• Report on food safety and quality issues to appropriate personnel.
• Comply with all food safety requirements, training, policies, and procedures.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
