Southwest Airlines seeks a Plant Maintenance Technician to maintain hangars, offices, and facilities supporting our Technical Operations. You will repair infrastructure, respond to urgent needs, and help ensure safe, reliable operations for nonstop aviation.

Responsibilities include building maintenance, electrical and plumbing work, and collaboration with a team. Requires a high school diploma or GED, 2 years of related experience, and ability to work overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• Must be familiar with basic city codes.
• Ability to read and comprehend architectural blue prints and commercial wiring diagrams.
• Ability to follow instructions, learn, understand, and comply with building codes pertaining to structural building maintenance.
• Ability to write accurate and complete summaries of work on required forms and keep records.
• Must be aware of hazardous situations and handle emergencies as required.
• Must work under deadlines and with others as part of a team.

Responsabilités

• Maintenance, dismantling, altering, repairing and erecting of buildings, hangars, ground offices, office equipment.
• Work with field equipment; perform plumbing, electrical, carpentry, HVAC duties and related systems.
• Meet physical ability requirements listed and be able to work overtime if needed.
