Job summary

Nutrien is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to oversee the maintenance operations at the Marseilles Plant in the United States. You will ensure reliability, safety, and compliance while coordinating with Production and Maintenance teams.

You will manage storeroom and inventory, control costs, schedule work, and participate in safety programs. The role requires leadership, adherence to procedures, and the ability to adapt to plant needs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or Equivalent, Required.
• Industrial Maintenance or Electrical certification, or a minimum of 5 years of relevant Industrial Maintenance or Electrical work experience.
• Welding certification, preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee maintenance operations at the Marseilles Plant to achieve safety, quality, cost, and environmental goals.
• Maintain storeroom and inventory levels to prevent parts shortages affecting production.
• Manage plant reliability through work orders and preventative maintenance across production, shipping, and office areas.
• Monitor and control maintenance costs to stay within budget.
• Coordinate with Production Supervisors and report issues to the Operations Superintendent.
• Ensure OSHA/compliance and enforce standard operating procedures for all staff.
• Schedule and supervise planned inspections and maintenance activities.

Education

High school diploma or Equivalent

Industrial Maintenance or Electrical certification, or 5+ years of related experience
