Job summary

Darling Ingredients is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to oversee the maintenance staff at our Houston plant. You will supervise technicians, plan preventive and corrective maintenance, and coordinate electrical, plumbing and mechanical system work to keep equipment available and compliant with safety standards.

The ideal candidate has strong supervisory experience, welding or PLC troubleshooting skills, and proficiency with standard office software.

Qualifications

Requires High School Diploma or GED. 3–5 years supervisory experience in industrial maintenance. 3–5 years welding experience (Stick/TIG) or PLC troubleshooting/programming. Proficiency with MS Word and MS Excel.

Responsibilities

Supervise and assign maintenance staff; inspect work for completeness.
Develop and communicate short- and long-term maintenance plans.
Coordinate/perform electrical, plumbing, mechanical system repairs and preventive maintenance.
Schedule maintenance to ensure equipment and plant availability.
Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
Collaborate with Maintenance Manager on maintenance actions and process improvements.
