Job summary

Darling Ingredients is seeking a Maintenance Manager to supervise the maintenance staff and oversee corrective and preventative maintenance procedures within the Dallas plant.

You will lead a team, schedule work, implement preventative maintenance, and ensure safety standards per OSHA guidelines. The role requires strong knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and welding practices and hands-on facility upkeep.

Qualifications

• High school Diploma or GED equivalent.
• 3+ years of experience as a manager in an industrial setting or with training/vocational school.
• Demonstrated knowledge of industrial electrical, mechanical, and welding procedures.
• Experience with computer maintenance programs and with MS Word and MS Excel.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates and corrects all mechanical and/or building problems that may arise in the plant.
• Provides direction and leadership for the maintenance crew and controls scheduling.
• Implements and evaluates preventative maintenance program.
• Responsible for training new personnel on Company safety procedures and safe operating standards in accordance with OSHA.
• Responsible for cleanliness of equipment and safety inspections.
• Operates all equipment in accordance with company safety rules and procedures.
• All other duties as assigned.
