Job summary

Gruma Corporation in New Brighton, MN is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to lead a team of leads and mechanics in daily preventive and corrective maintenance. You will ensure adherence to GMPs, safety, and company guidelines, while maintaining productive shifts and effective communication.

The role requires 3 years in maintenance with supervisory experience in manufacturing, plus PLC and electrical skills. A strong focus on safety, downtime reduction, and training of staff is essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED or Equivalent required. 3 years of experience in Maintenance in a manufacturing plant required.
• Bakery or food/beverage manufacturing preferred.
• 3+ years in a supervisory capacity (or 5 years as a lead) in manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Supervises leads and mechanics to plan shift and ensure daily PMs.
• Monitors safety, GMPs, and company policies.
• Ensures preventive maintenance program is followed and forms completed.
• Interprets electrical diagrams and troubleshoot PLCs.
• Maintains clear communication across shifts and with management.
• Oversees downtime tracking and efficiency improvements.
• Trains mechanics on PLCs and equipment operations.
• Ensures proper spare parts control and inventory.
