Fresh Mark, Inc. Canton Plant is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to lead and develop a team responsible for operating and maintaining ammonia refrigeration, boilers, compressed air and related systems in a fast-paced food processing facility.

The role emphasizes safety, preventive maintenance, and hands-on leadership of up to seven technicians, with opportunities for professional growth and competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Minimum of five years of refrigeration and utilities experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency with computers and Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
• Ability to manage multiple and conflicting priorities.
• Proven ability to plan, organize and manage people.
• Strong problem solving, negotiating and decision-making skills.
• Ability to work with employees at all levels of the organization.
• Proven leadership and ability to motivate others.

Responsibilities

• Oversee operation of ammonia refrigeration, boiler steam, compressed air, hot water and fire suppression systems.
• Direct and lead team in installation, repair and preventive maintenance of equipment.
• Limit and reduce downtime to keep production lines running at top efficiency.
• Plan, schedule and manage up to seven technicians on the team.
• Continually promote safety as a top priority.
• Provide technical assistance to production and sanitation departments.
