Job summary

SCN BestCo is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to oversee 1st, 2nd, or 3rd shift maintenance teams including mechanics, electricians and plumbers. The role schedules staff to support manufacturing and distribution, tracks shift activity, and serves as a technical resource for unresolved issues.

Responsibilities include supervising personnel, ensuring safety and quality standards, and coordinating with internal customers to meet company goals.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 8 years’ experience as technician, mechanic, or field service engineer or equivalent.
• Strong leadership, organization, communication, teamwork, troubleshooting and time-management skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Ability to read and interpret safety and maintenance procedures and write routine reports.

Responsibilities

• Regularly collaborate with mechanics, technicians, vendors, contractors, managers and engineers on maintenance and related matters.
• Interface with internal customers to ensure clear communication between departments.
• Troubleshoot maintenance issues and establish team procedures for common situations.
• Review and assign work orders; ensure CMMS entries and preventative maintenance schedules are current.
• Coordinate projects and resources; respond to major machine failures with parts and personnel.
