Job summary

Allient Inc. in Oshkosh, Wisconsin is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to lead a small maintenance team and oversee electrical and mechanical repair across the plant and offices.

You will mentor staff, coordinate with management and external providers, and ensure safe, reliable operations including HVAC and energy conservation. A valid driver’s license and journeyman license (or willingness to obtain) are preferred.

Qualifications

• Equivalent to high school plus practical training or apprenticeship in electro-mechanical tech.
• Valid Driver's License; Journeyman Electrician license preferred (or willingness to obtain).
• Over 4–5 years of industrial maintenance experience; 2–5 years supervisory experience.
• Knowledge of maintenance trades: painting, repair, pipe fitting, electrical, carpentry, millwright and fabrication.
• Experience with an ERP system.

Responsibilities

• Direct, supervise and work with maintenance personnel on carpet, tile, painting, equipment installation and repair.
• Coordinate with external vendors for quotes and specialized projects.
• Plan daily maintenance work with plant management using work orders and drawings.
• Diagnose mechanical or electrical malfunctions and repair or replace components.
• Inspect and maintain machines, calibrations, and safety records.
• Maintain plant security, lighting, HVAC, and energy conservation measures.
• Train employees in carpentry, plumbing, electrical and millwright tasks.
• Set up machines and collaborate on new machinery trials.
• Ensure adherence to safety policies and labor agreements.
