Job summary

GE Aerospace in Lynn, MA seeks a Plant Maintenance and Safety Coordinator to oversee machine maintenance performance, PM execution in Maximo, and safety compliance for the manufacturing maintenance group. Responsibilities include budget oversight, vendor coordination, and supporting spare parts procurement.

The role requires a degree in engineering or related manufacturing field (or equivalent experience) with strong skills in geometry, blueprint reading, and safety program execution.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university/college OR associate degree with a minimum of 2 years in manufacturing experience OR a High School Diploma/GED with a minimum of 4 years manufacturing experience
• Experience in safety/crafts and/or facility role
• Proficient in shop mathematics, geometry and trigonometry, blueprint reading, GD&T

Responsibilities

• Monitor/audit vendor agreements and billing
• Budget coordination for machine maintenance and plant expenses
• Maintain Master Machine Maintenance List and PM schedules in Maximo
• Coordinate preventative maintenance and material procurement
• Troubleshoot process issues and provide direction to shop floor staff
• Input JSA into Gensuite and lead safety initiatives
• Order safety equipment and PPE; support corrective actions
