Job summary

PABCO Gypsum, a division of PABCO Building Products LLC, is seeking a Manufacturing Maintenance Manager for the Newark, CA plant. The role focuses on reliability, uptime, and leading maintenance teams to minimize downtime while supporting continuous improvement.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field, 5+ years of industrial maintenance/management experience, and strong organizational skills. Competitive benefits and a strong safety culture are offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Mechanical or Electrical preferred.
• Five years+ industrial experience in engineering and management is preferred.
• Strong organizational skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Manages the Maintenance Department.
• Investigates and troubleshoots all plant equipment.
• Oversees procurement of parts and inventory.
• Schedules and executes maintenance activities to maximize equipment availability.
• Plans and prepares work and shutdown schedules.
• Communicates with vendors and manages facility projects.
• Upholds company values through training and coaching.
