Job summary

Pj-Trailers is seeking a Maintenance/Engineering lead to initiate and direct plant-wide projects, improving machine uptime and efficiency. You will direct maintenance personnel, manage repairs and overhauls, and oversee safety initiatives and preventive maintenance schedules.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Engineering or related field (or relatable experience), strong problem-solving, and Lean/5S knowledge to drive a safe, productive plant environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or closely related field; relatable experience accepted in lieu of degree.
• Self-starter and highly motivated.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Mechanical aptitude.
• Knowledge of 5S and Lean principles.

Responsibilities

• Initiate and direct plant-wide projects to improve machine uptime, efficiencies, and overall production.
• Direct employees to complete daily maintenance tasks and maintain the plant environment.
• Manage maintenance, repair and overhaul for facility and equipment, including materials procurement.
• Oversee safety initiatives and production support.
• Schedule and oversee preventive maintenance program.
