Job summary

You will follow safety rules, read instructions, and work with maintenance to support quality output. The role requires a high school diploma or GED, at least one year of related experience, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds; overtime may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is preferred.
• Minimum of one year related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedures; write routine reports.
• Ability to perform arithmetic with whole numbers, fractions, decimals and metric units.
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out written or oral instructions.
• Must be highly motivated, able to work independently or as part of a team and have above-average mechanical ability.
• Physical demands include lifting up to 50 pounds and standing for extended periods; overtime may be required.

Responsibilities

• Create a quality product and follow procedures to meet customer requirements.
• Participate in training to ensure quality and safety.
• Comply with safety, environmental, health policies and procedures.
• Identify potential emergencies and report incidents to supervision.
• Maintain clean, orderly work areas and perform general maintenance tasks as needed.
• Read instructions and record information in logs or computer systems.
