Job summary

Tenneco in Kentucky is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform routine and preventative maintenance on industrial machinery and facilities equipment. You will diagnose and repair malfunctions and maintain records in the electronic work order system.

The role requires ability to work safely, meet production standards, and be flexible with hours. Familiarity with Fanuc/Motoman robot programming is a plus, and forklift operation is expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• 5 years of mechanical or electrical industrial experience preferred.
• Ability to read electrical prints, hydraulic schematics, and PLC ladder diagrams.
• Ability to operate hand tools and Forklift equipment.
• Ability to work at heights and in restricted spaces; maintain safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine inspections and maintenance of industrial machinery and facility equipment.
• Diagnose and repair malfunctions or breakdowns.
• Perform preventive maintenance as needed.
• Maintain accurate records in the electronic work order system.
• Ensure all safety regulations are followed.
• Respond to maintenance requests with professionalism and urgency.
• Be flexible with traditional and non-traditional work hours.
• Other duties as assigned.
