Hirebridge in Sumter, SC is seeking a Plant Maintenance Mechanic to maintain and repair plant equipment. You will perform mechanical maintenance, fabrication, welding, and cutting, and ensure safe, efficient operations.

The role requires at least 1 year of mechanical maintenance experience, forklift experience, strong math and organizational skills, and excellent verbal and written communication.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of mechanical maintenance experience required.
• Experience operating mobile equipment (forklifts) preferred.
• Strong organizational and mathematical skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform mechanical maintenance, fabrication, assembly, welding, and cutting.
• Troubleshoot, dismantle, repair, and reassemble mechanical equipment.
• Conduct preventive inspections and document findings.
• Maintain safe work areas and operate mobile equipment as needed.
