Job summary

MOR PPM Inc. seeks a Plant Mechanic in Aiken, SC to perform skilled maintenance and repair of manufacturing equipment. You will work rotating shifts and overtime, ensuring safe, reliable operations across our production lines.

Responsibilities include inspections, troubleshooting, fabricating, removing and replacing components, and diagnosing problems from drawings and publications. A high school diploma or GED is required.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required.
Able to communicate clearly in English (verbal and written).
Read and interpret blueprints and mechanical drawings.
Must have valid Driver’s License.
Experienced in industrial maintenance work.
Ability to work independently.
Basic computer skills for documentation and records.
Basic electrical skills for maintenance tasks.
Own a complete set of mechanics’ tools (company provides access to specialized tools).
Demonstrate proficiency across listed areas.

Responsibilities

Constant improvement, fabrication, and repair of tire manufacturing equipment.
Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair equipment as needed.
Read and interpret blueprints and technical documents to guide repairs and modifications.
Work safely, follow all rules and procedures, and maintain a tobacco-free facility.
