Wieland North America, Inc. seeks a Plant Maintenance Mechanic II to maintain and repair recycling production equipment in Granite City, IL. You will perform preventive/predictive maintenance, diagnose issues, and ensure safety compliance in a fast-paced on-site environment.

Hourly pay ranges from $28 to $32 with a Monday–Friday schedule. Experience with industrial equipment, tooling, and EAM systems is essential for uptime and reliability.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Three years’ maintenance experience with mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
• Experience with industrial equipment maintenance.
• Valid driver’s license with clean record.
• Forklift certification required.
• Ability to read documents and interpret instructions.
• Strong problem-solving and teamwork abilities.

Responsabilités

• Under minimal supervision, provides preventative and predictive maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of recycling production systems.
• Adheres to safety standards and promotes a safe work environment through trainings and safety meetings.
• Utilizes the Equipment Asset Management (EAM) system to enter and retrieve data.
• Diagnoses and troubleshoots mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems; may consult higher-level technicians.
• Performs scheduled inspections and preventive/predictive maintenance to meet uptime and budget goals.
• Maintains maintenance records, logs, permits, and documentation.
• Assists lower-level technicians and participates in continuous improvement initiatives.
