Job summary

Wieland is hiring a Plant Maintenance Mechanic II to join our Granite City, IL team and help maintain recycling production systems on-site. You will perform preventive and predictive maintenance, diagnose issues, and ensure reliability of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic equipment.

This full-time role operates Monday–Friday with a 6:00 AM–2:30 PM schedule and weekly pay. Ideal candidates have 3+ years in maintenance, a High School Diploma or GED, and the ability to read manuals and operate

Qualifications

• Three (3) years' experience in maintenance with proficiency in mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.

Responsibilities

• Under minimal supervision, provides preventative and predictive maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of recycling production systems.
• Adheres to safety standards and promotes a safe work environment by attending safety meetings and required trainings.
• Utilizes the Equipment Asset Management (EAM) system to enter and retrieve prescribed data.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems; may rely on higher-level technicians for complex issues.
• Perform scheduled inspection and preventive maintenance to meet uptime and budget targets.
• Complete maintenance records, logs, permits, and required documentation.
