Description

Overview:
Performs work as part of a team in an industrial laundry facility. Responsible for the safe, expeditious, and accurate performance of routine maintenance according to a daily preventative maintenance schedule in and around the laundry facility.

Responsibilities/Essential Functions:

• Maintain all plant equipment, including high-volume industrial washers and dryers. Repair and replace equipment as necessary.
• Perform basic plumbing, mechanical, and electrical work.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues using manuals and schematics.
• Order necessary parts, tools, and equipment following procurement policies.
• Maintain maintenance schedules and records.
• Conduct waste solids removal and processing from treatment processes.
• Perform troubleshooting, repairs, preventative maintenance, and housekeeping for wastewater hardware.
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment, following safety procedures and policies.
• Other duties as assigned.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

• Mechanical and basic electrical aptitude.
• Knowledge of maintenance procedures and safety techniques.
• Understanding of industrial laundry equipment and codes.
• Ability to follow instructions and communicate effectively.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Availability to work shifts, including weekends and overtime as needed.

Working Environment/Safety Requirements:

• High-volume production warehouse setting, exposed to weather, heat, cold, dust, and noise.
• Must be able to move, lift (up to 50 lbs), bend, reach, and work at heights.

Education:

High school diploma or equivalent; 3-5 years maintenance experience.
