Job summary

AkzoNobel in High Point, NC is seeking a Maintenance Manager to lead plant maintenance, supervise technicians and contractors, and drive reliability across facilities. You will implement maintenance strategies, manage preventive and corrective plans, and ensure safety, compliance, and performance targets.

The role requires an engineering degree and 3–5 years of industrial maintenance experience, plus proficiency with SAP-PM and MS Office.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree in mechanical, electrical, automation, or chemical fields.
• 3–5 years of maintenance or engineering experience in an industrial environment.
• Proficient with MS Office and SAP-PM.
• Experience with preventive and corrective maintenance planning.
• Industrial maintenance knowledge including pneumatics, electrical, hydraulics, PLCs.
• Strong communication, analytical, problem-solving, initiative and leadership.
• HSE knowledge and asset integrity management.

Responsibilities

• Oversee plant maintenance tasks and supervise technicians and contractors.
• Implement maintenance processes and SAP PM KPIs.
• Develop Preventative Maintenance and ensure adherence.
• Ensure safety goals: TRR=0 and related programs.
• Coordinate budget and investments for maintenance.
• Collaborate on contracts and maintenance budgets; coordinate external services.
• Train and motivate staff; uphold integrity and ethics.
• Communicate changes within the organization.
