Job summary

Pregis is seeking a Maintenance Manager to lead the plant maintenance department, oversee technicians, manage PMs and CMMS, and drive reliability across mechanical, electrical, PLC, DCS systems. This role collaborates with plant leadership on projects and utilities, overseeing spares and capital budgets.

You will develop maintenance procedures, champion safety, 5S, and continuous improvement while mentoring staff and ensuring compliance with LOTO and safety rules.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in engineering, Mechanics, Electrical, Computer Science or equivalent experience.
• Welding/Fabrication knowledge.
• Ability to use CAD software to create mechanical drawings desired.
• Knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatics repair and troubleshooting.
• Experience with maintenance CMMS work order systems.
• Ability to understand mechanical, piping, and electrical drawings.
• PLC certified preferred
• Understanding of machine control systems, electrical schematics.
• 3 years of managerial experience.

• Develop maintenance procedures and ensure implementation.
• Ensure safety and 5S in the department.
• Ensure timely CMMS PM/CM work and safety adherence.
• Monitor equipment performance and implement downtime reduction strategies.
• Own the capital list and CAR system for the facility.
• Monitor maintenance spending and seek cost improvements.
• Lead the team to complete tasks quickly with a customer-centered approach.
• Perform RCA and use problem solving tools for improvement.
• Other duties as assigned.
• Provide accommodations as needed to enable performance.
• Promote teamwork and coachability across departments.
• Maintain visibility on the production floor to identify improvements.
• Collaborate across departments to share knowledge.
• Offer training to department members.
• Maintain good analytical skills and sense of urgency.
