Job summary

Lippert Components, Inc. is seeking a hands-on Facility Maintenance Supervisor in the United States.

The role leads a maintenance team responsible for safety, reliability, and efficiency of production equipment and plant facilities. The ideal candidate will have 4+ years of manufacturing experience with strong hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical, PLC, and HVAC skills, plus the ability to interpret manuals and work orders.

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED and completion of a craft apprenticeship, or an equivalent number of years of education and production maintenance experience.
• 4+ years of manufacturing experience; strong hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical and industrial skills with some PLC experience and HVAC
• Ability to read and interpret documents
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written or oral form.

Responsibilities

• Provide direction and motivation to team members focusing on safety, quality, efficiency, cost and morale.
• Assist with diversified duties to install and maintain production machine and the plant facility's equipment.
• Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production and performs scheduled maintenance repairs of production equipment during machine service.
• Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.
• Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test and adjust.
• Perform regular preventive maintenance on machines, equipment and plant facilities.
