Armstrong Utilities is seeking a Plant Maintenance Lineman 1 to construct and maintain aerial and underground HFC, FTTH, and telephone plant, with strong climbing and safety discipline.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must be able to climb poles and ladders.
• Physically capable of lifting at least 75 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Construct, maintain, and transfer aerial/underground HFC, FTTH, and telephone plant.
• Competent pole and ladder climbing skills.
• Work aloft using climbing gaffs, ladders and mechanical lifts.
• Operate bucket trucks, forklifts and other equipment.
• Read network design prints.
• Maintain daily log sheet and inventory paperwork.
• Follow NEC construction guidelines and Armstrong safety policies.
• Maintain vehicles and machines to Armstrong standards.
• Other assigned tasks.
