Job summary

MSI Express, Inc. seeks a Maintenance Manager to lead the maintenance department, ensuring safe operation of plant equipment and driving continuous improvement across safety, GMPs, sanitation, quality and food safety.

You will partner with operations and engineering, manage budgets and vendor relations, and foster an empowered team focused on reliability, cost control, and timely maintenance at our Indiana facility.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate or graduate degree required.
• Demonstrated understanding of maintenance.
• Demonstrated salaried and hourly management skills.
• Budget management experience.
• Vendor/contractor management experience.
• Project management experience.
• Metric development experience.
• Excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and direction to the maintenance department in safety, GMPs, sanitation, quality, food safety, customer service, and preventative maintenance.
• Develop long-term goals for the maintenance department and assist in strategic plans.
• Create a positive working environment and support continuous improvement.
• Establish cohesive communication between maintenance and other plant/corporate departments.
• Ensure all equipment, building and policies comply with regulatory agencies.
• Implement new solutions to improve equipment efficiency and safety.
• Develop and maintain plant maintenance budgets including annual capital.
• Manage inventory parts MRp system and optimize stock levels.
• Stress quality and reliability in vendor relationships.
