Responsibilities

• Lead the maintenance department in safety, GMPs, sanitation, quality and preventive maintenance.
• Develop long-term goals and support company growth strategies.
• Foster a positive environment and empower staff with problem-solving and skills development.
• Communicate effectively with plant and corporate departments to align priorities.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA and building codes; drive equipment efficiency.
• Oversee budgets, capital planning, and inventory using MRP/EOQ methods.
• Manage vendor/contractor relationships focusing on quality and cost.
• Approve accounts payable and maintain proper documentation and GL coding.
