Job summary

Alene Candles is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to lead maintenance of the plant, equipment, and safety systems. You will provide day-to-day direction, training, and management of the facilities team, maintaining a robust PM program and spares inventory to support operations.

You will learn operational functions of equipment, perform preventative maintenance, and train staff as needed. This onsite role requires coordinating with multiple departments to ensure safety and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Eight to ten years of experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment with responsibilities for equipment, facilities, and safety support.
• At least 1 year of supervisory experience.
• BS degree in Engineering or equivalent preferred.
• Experience with third party contractors and suppliers is a plus.
• Experience with Preventative Maintenance, CAD, and Project Management Software preferred.
• Effective communicator, both oral and written.
• Demonstrated project management skills and ability to supervise staff.

Responsibilities

• Plan, oversee and coordinate maintenance of equipment, machinery and facilities.
• Direct maintenance activities for plant, property and equipment systems.
• Prepare RFQs, bid sheets and contracts for equipment/facility upgrades.
• Manage project implementation and qualification of plant improvement initiatives.
• Define and optimize equipment setup, run and maintenance procedures.
• Supervise maintenance team and provide leadership across departments.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities in equipment and facilities processes.
