Job summary

Alene Candles LLC & Midwest is seeking a Maintenance Technician II for the FIRST shift at our Milford, NH site. You will read schematics, troubleshoot electrical and mechanical systems, and work with pneumatics and hydraulics to maintain production equipment and building systems.

The role requires strong problem-solving, good communication, and the ability to collaborate in a team. Candidates with experience in facility maintenance, ERP systems, and basic carpentry, electrical, and plumbing

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with 3 years of practical experience, or graduate of a technical school with 1 year of experience.
• PC skills including Word and Excel; knowledge of OSHA/EPA regulations preferred.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and ability to work with limited supervision.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair production and building equipment (electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic).
• Perform facility maintenance including carpentry, electrical, and plumbing.
• Implement preventive maintenance to reduce downtime.
• Maintain maintenance documentation for equipment.
• Operate welders, acetylene torches, brazing or soldering equipment.
• Drive company box-truck between buildings as needed.
• Comply with safety policies and company standards.
• Perform other related tasks as directed.
