Job summary

Tyson Foods, Inc. is seeking a maintenance technician to troubleshoot and repair mechanical equipment across the plant. Responsibilities include preventive maintenance, hydraulic systems, boilers, HVAC, and utility equipment, with CMMS/SAP documentation and safety in all tasks.

The role requires at least 6 months of mechanic experience or an industrial maintenance training program completion, and a willingness to work overtime, weekends, or emergencies. Relocation assistance is not mentioned.

Qualifications

6 months of mechanic work experience or graduation from an industrial maintenance training program.

Responsibilities

Complete preventive maintenance on electrical and mechanical equipment.
Install and maintain hydraulic equipment, pumps, motors, and cylinders.
Install and maintain utility equipment including boilers, compressors, HVAC systems, and cooling towers.
Troubleshoot and repair electrical or mechanical equipment.
Change out and setup equipment.
Complete prefabrication tasks and run machine shop equipment.
Perform basic math functions as needed.
Work overtime and/or weekends as required.
Respond to emergencies when needed.
Work outdoors in adverse weather conditions.
Complete CMMS/SAP paperwork.
Keep work areas clean.
