Martin Marietta is seeking a Plant Maintenance Night Shift at our Columbia West Quarry in Columbia, MO. The role focuses on troubleshooting, disassembly for repairs, lubrication, and welding as needed, with emphasis on safety and teamwork.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or equivalent, maintenance experience, and knowledge of MSHA regulations, with the ability to work outdoors year-round on night shifts.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED or equivalent.
• Heavy equipment operations or military experience preferred.
• Previous maintenance experience preferred.
• Valid US driver's license.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Knowledge of MSHA regulations.
• Effective written and verbal communication.
• Knowledge of machines and tools including their design, use and maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Participate in safety programs and trainings, promoting Martin Marietta’s Guardian Angel culture.
• Disassemble machines and remove parts for repairs using hand tools, chain falls, jacks or hoists.
• Inspect equipment for signs of wear.
• Collaborate with team members to repair moving machine parts for equipment or transport materials between work areas.
• Lubricate machines, machine parts or other equipment according to standards.
• Tend to equipment such as conveyors to move materials through production processes.
• Perform basic maintenance on heavy mobile equipment.
• Perform welding and fabrication activities as needed.
• Work in a team environment.
• Clean work areas.
• Proper wear of personal protective equipment.
• Notify supervisors of repairs needed.

Hours: 10pm - 6am Pay: $25-$30 an hour
