Job summary

Martin Marietta is currently looking for a Heavy Equipment Operator at the underground mine operations in Randolph, Missouri. This position is responsible for safely operating heavy mobile equipment within the plant.

Essential Functions

• Participate in safety programs and trainings, promoting Martin Marietta’s Guardian Angel culture
• Inspect equipment for signs of wear
• Perform basic maintenance on heavy mobile equipment
• Work in a team environment
• Clean work areas
• Maneuver trucks into loading or unloading positions
• Proper wear of personal protective equipment
• Notify supervisors of needed repairs
• Ensure materials are properly loaded according to safety requirements
• Assist in plant maintenance and repairs
• Perform duties with minimum supervision

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time position and will require 40+ hours per week.

Preferred Education And Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid US driver’s license
• Heavy equipment operations or military experience preferred

Knowledge, Skills And Abilities
