Job summary

Stellantis is hiring a Plant Logistics Manager in Belvidere, IL to lead the Material Logistics Management (MLM) team and drive lean, audit-compliant operations at the plant level. You will develop MLM staff, interpret corporate directives, and partner with multiple levels of the organization to optimize material flow and inventory control.

The role requires a Bachelor's in a related field and 10+ years in manufacturing logistics, with strong leadership, strategic vision, and lean experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business or a related field.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in a manufacturing environment focused in production control, supply chain or material handling.
• Demonstrated ability to solve complex issues and manage daily business including escalation and communication.
• Experience setting strategic direction, leading and developing the MLM team.
• Lean manufacturing knowledge and application.
• Ability to implement, sustain and improve material flow processes and inventory control strategies.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills with MS Office and/or Google Suite.

Responsibilities

• Lead manpower management including salary employees hiring, retention, development and involvement in Stellantis Industrial System.
• Oversee audit management activities (SOX, MQGR ISO) and lean audits.
• Lead Lean Management activities for Logistics including KPI initiatives and benchmarking.
• Set strategic direction for MLM department and drive top business-leak identification.
• Interact with all levels of the organization, including bargaining and non-bargaining staff and executives.
