Job summary

Tyson Foods is seeking a Lean Leader for our Prepared Foods Plant in the United States. The role drives the Tyson Lean MOS program, delivers lean training, coaches teams, and ensures governance across the site.

Responsibilities include publishing weekly updates, maintaining the War Room, and developing actionable plans with plant leadership to mature processes for upcoming checkpoints. Travel is expected to be <20%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 2+ years in manufacturing; Lean/CI background is a plus.
• Excellent communication, coaching, and mentoring skills.
• Strong business acumen and proficiency with MS Office; SAP and BI tools.
• Travel less than 20%.
• Must attach a resume to be considered; US residency required; sponsorship not available.

Responsibilities

• Maintain governance and program administration for the plant.
• Attend daily DMS Level meetings; provide coaching, health checks.
• Ensure problem-solving methodology is followed with weekly reviews.
• Publish weekly lean milestones and progress to leadership.
• Keep War Room updated and align docs with SOPs.
• Collaborate across departments to drive continuous improvement.
