Job Responsibilities:

1. Perform various general labor duties at an asphalt plant.
2. Assist on heavy highway or production crews as needed.
3. Tasks include shoveling, raking, traffic control, moving materials, setting forms, stripping and cleaning concrete forms, pouring concrete, and maintaining safety and housekeeping standards.
4. Experience with asphalt and equipment operation is beneficial.

Requirements:

• Ability to repeatedly lift up to 30 pounds, walk, stoop, squat, sit, kneel, and pass a physical exam.
• Knowledge of basic tools, mathematical, and measurement skills.
• Preferred: One year of verifiable experience in road construction, quarry, or asphalt plant work.
• Maintain reliable attendance, meet company standards, and uphold a positive attitude.
