Position Overview

APAC-AL, Inc., part of CRH’s South Division, is a leading supplier of quality asphalt and construction services in the Southeastern U.S., with operations in Alabama. We work with government agencies, private contractors, counties, and municipalities to produce millions of tons of construction materials and pave miles of highways annually. Job Responsibilities

1. Perform a variety of general labor duties at an asphalt plant and assist on highway or production crews as needed.
2. Tasks include shoveling, raking, traffic control, moving materials, setting and stripping forms, pouring concrete, shoveling, vibrating, and maintaining safety and cleanliness standards.
3. Experience with asphalt and equipment operation is beneficial.

Minimum Requirements

• Ability to repeatedly lift up to 30 pounds, walk, stoop, squat, sit, kneel, and pass a physical examination.
• Knowledge of basic tools, mathematical and measurement skills.
• Preferred: One year of verifiable experience in road construction, quarry, or asphalt plant operations.
• Reliable attendance, positive attitude, and adherence to safety standards.
