Job summary

CRH Telluride operations are seeking a skilled plant worker to operate heavy equipment, collect and analyze concrete material samples, and report results with accuracy. The role includes general labor duties, plant maintenance, and adherence to MSHA & OSHA safety standards.

The candidate should have a high school diploma or GED, be willing to train, and possess a valid driver's license. This on-site position involves various manual tasks and teamwork in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• 1–2 years related experience preferred but not required.
• Must have a current and valid driver’s license with a good driving record.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
• Knowledge of database software is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Participates in daily TRACK meetings and weekly safety meetings.
• Assists in plant production and maintains plant equipment.
• Operates forklift, front end loader, skidsteer and related equipment.
• Collects and tests samples and records results accurately.
• Maintains daily test records and submits reports to supervisor.
• Performs plant maintenance and safe daily housekeeping.
