Job summary

KEITH Manufacturing Co. is seeking a skilled Plant Journeyman Electrician to join our Maintenance Department in Madras, Oregon.

This hands-on role focuses on installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems across our manufacturing facility to support production uptime. The ideal candidate will read schematics, work safely to NFPA/NEC standards, and coordinate with production and engineering to improve equipment reliability.

Qualifications

Must have Oregon Journeyman Electrician license.
Strong knowledge of industrial electrical systems and controls.
Experience with PLCs, VFDs, conveyors, and automated equipment preferred.
Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and technical documentation.
Proficient with electrical testing and diagnostic equipment.

Responsibilities

Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair industrial electrical systems and equipment.
Diagnose and repair electrical issues involving CNC machinery, automated production equipment, motors, drives, PLCs, sensors, and control systems.
Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on plant equipment.
Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals.
Coordinate with production, engineering, and maintenance personnel to support operational goals.
